Requirements

10+ years of experience within the field of architecture
Prior experience leading a team or studio
Proposals experience
Experience developing and maintaining client relationships in the Los Angeles market
Licensed Architect strongly preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field
Ability to lead and foster a team environment

Responsibilities

Support the Regional Director in growth, revenue, profitability, staff management, and client relationships for the Los Angeles market
Day-to-day management of work and team members for the studio
Ensure all proposals and contracts are in place
Manage the group’s organizational chart, project budget reports, review of monthly project revenue projections & monthly financials, and preparation of monthly business reports
Consistently market and promote getting new work for Ware Malcomb to grow the group
Attend business development/networking functions
Create and lead a positive, team-oriented environment
Partner with internal recruiting team to hire new team members
Nurture a positive, team-oriented environment and ensure financial goals and deadlines are met
Assist the office leader in business development
