Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in molecular diagnostics, life sciences, or a related field, and a graduate-level degree (Masters in Business Administration strongly preferred) is desirable. They require at least 5 years of experience in healthcare or life sciences, with a focus on product management, particularly within molecular diagnostics, and 4 years of experience managing a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to gather and interpret data, are also essential. Furthermore, proficiency in using project management and collaboration tools is desirable, and a willingness to travel up to 25% is required.

Responsibilities

As the Sr. Manager, Product Management, Molecular Diagnostics, the individual will be responsible for strategic leadership, overseeing the P&L for the product portfolio, optimizing product mix, spearheading cost-reduction projects, and enabling high-margin innovative R&D projects. They will coordinate the entire product lifecycle, lead the product roadmap, and ensure alignment with business goals. The role involves team development, mentorship, and strategic guidance to the product management team, regular reporting on progress, and collaborating with market development teams to drive product awareness and demand. Additionally, the individual will contribute to performance metrics such as revenue, bookings, and customer-allegiance score, and demonstrate leadership qualities in a global, matrixed environment.
