Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a similar field, along with at least two years of experience in a similar role and applicable professional qualifications such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certifications. Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and related technologies, as well as solid expertise in best practices for IT administration and system security, are also required. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, are essential.

Responsibilities

This IT administrator will be responsible for managing the company's IT infrastructure by upgrading and installing hardware and software, troubleshooting IT issues, and maintaining networks and servers. They will also monitor and maintain networks and servers, create and automate alerting and monitoring system logs, build tools to mitigate weaknesses in incident management or software delivery, supervise and mentor IT department employees, and provide IT support. Additionally, the role involves implementing security protocols and procedures, creating user accounts and performing access control, conducting diagnostic tests and debugging procedures, documenting processes, performing backup and archiving data, designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems, and keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.
