Requirements

Candidates must possess extensive experience in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or JavaScript, and proficiency in object-oriented languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, or C++. A strong understanding of Kubernetes, service mesh technologies (ISTIO, Linkerd, Consul), Helm Charts, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, Gitlab) is essential. Experience with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK for infrastructure automation and a solid grasp of the full software development lifecycle using Agile practices are required. Familiarity with git version control and branching strategies is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The DevOps Engineer will enable customer use of AWS by designing, deploying, and troubleshooting microservices on Kubernetes, integrating service meshes, and creating cloud-native CI/CD workflows. They will automate cloud infrastructure using scripting and code, supporting application deployment and testing across environments. Responsibilities include architecting, deploying, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines, providing guidance on AWS architecture, and establishing cloud operations visibility through resource tagging and cost analysis. The role also involves supporting customer migrations to AWS, assisting with migration plans, executing migrations, and ensuring rigorous project governance through daily team meetings and accountability.
