Requirements

Candidates must possess functional knowledge of FinOps, AWS, Azure, and GCP. Prior experience in a pre-sales engineer or customer-facing role is preferred, along with related industry experience and/or certifications in FinOps, AWS, Azure, and GCP. A 4-year degree with a minimum of 8 years of related experience, or 6 years with an advanced degree, or equivalent experience is typically required. The role demands strong organizational and interpersonal abilities, customer focus, business and sales acumen, and the ability to conduct effective group presentations and trainings.

Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer - CloudHealth will provide technical direction and business guidance to channel partners in North America, focusing on partner enablement goals through innovative technical programs and day-to-day technical account activities. Responsibilities include evangelizing, positioning, and architecting solutions, working with sales and marketing teams on penetration strategies and enablement plans, and driving leads from identification to sale completion. The role involves leading pre-sales activities, demonstrating technical leadership in FinOps Public Cloud Management, and acting as a technical expert to propose solutions that meet partner requirements. Additionally, the Sales Engineer will make technical and sales presentations, create and produce digital channel-ready technical content, influence technology adoption among partners, build relationships with account teams and partners, lead technical sales calls, and qualify sales opportunities based on end-customer technical requirements and business needs.
