Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with triad (Designer + Product + Development manager) to understand business challenges, identify impactful opportunities, and craft team roadmap
  • Work with team on designing technical solutions
  • Provide great feedback on code reviews, architecture documents, and more to support team members in making great technical decisions
  • Actively participate as a contributor to projects, through extensive code reviews or shipping code
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings with direct reports to support their career growth and development goals
  • Actively participate in hiring to grow engineering team
  • Review code contributed by team members or other Clio developers seeking expertise on technology or patterns
  • Support and grow people, ensure strong execution as a team and triad, and build solid technical solutions
  • Coach and build teams to be strong technically and as team members
  • Create a safe and productive environment for all team members
