Requirements

  • Diploma or above in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • 3 years or above of relevant work experience (less experienced candidates or fresh graduates with positive attitudes will be considered as Assistant Engineer/Technician)
  • Experience with refrigeration systems, including brazing copper pipes
  • Strong electrical or mechanical background for troubleshooting/repair and problem-solving
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in interpreting work instructions, test procedures, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English
  • Physical dexterity to handle laboratory equipment in a dynamic repair center environment
  • Ability to work overtime or on weekends when required
  • Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Represent the company in a positive, professional manner in all dealings with customers, both external and internal
  • Perform troubleshooting, including component and system failure analysis, using standard diagnostic techniques
  • Clean, inspect, and document the details of the pre-repair condition of chillers, cold storage, and equipment requiring repair
  • Replace non-conforming and preventive maintenance parts as required
  • Perform full checkout, testing, and calibration of repaired instrumentation, providing appropriate test data, documentation, and reports after repair
  • Optimize and ensure the accuracy of provided tools and consignment parts
  • Involved in continuous improvement through the Practical Process Improvement Business System
  • Support ad-hoc projects, field service, and training
