CARTO is the leading cloud-native location intelligence platform, trusted by data scientists, data analysts, and developers from companies like Vodafone, IKEA, Decathlon, Coca-Cola, and Mastercard. We are looking for a content-savvy, creative, and commercially-minded Demand Generation Manager to join our exceptionally diverse team of 150 people spread across the US and Europe. This position will be based in Spain, preferably in the Madrid area, but any location in Spain would work.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution:
    • Own end-to-end demand generation campaigns across multiple channels including email, social media, webinars, and account-based marketing initiatives with partners.
    • Take personal ownership of repurposing pillar content into diverse formats, creating multiple touchpoints from single pieces to extract maximum campaign value.
    • Collaborate closely with content & product marketing, partner marketing, and sales teams to ensure campaign messaging resonates with our target accounts and drives qualified opportunities.
  • Customer Journey Optimization:
    • Develop and execute sophisticated customer lifecycle marketing programs that nurture prospects from awareness through consideration and purchase.
    • Create personalized customer experiences across different segments and buying stages, leveraging customer insights to optimize touchpoints throughout the journey.
    • Build targeted expansion campaigns to drive growth and usage within our existing customer base.
  • SDR Collaboration & Cadence Optimization:
    • Create and continuously optimize cadences for event follow-ups, content engagement sequences, and other touchpoint opportunities to maximize conversion rates in collaboration with the SDR team.
  • Customer Marketing & Advocacy:
    • Create programs that showcase customer success stories.
    • Work closely with our customer success team to identify advocacy opportunities.
    • Coordinate customer speaking opportunities at industry events and our Spatial Data Science Conference.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B demand generation experience.
  • Analytical: Base decisions on data while understanding the broader market context.
  • Results-oriented: Laser-focused on pipeline and revenue metrics.
  • Excellent project manager: Ability to orchestrate complex, multi-channel campaigns while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communicator and compelling writer: Ability to craft persuasive copy across multiple formats and effectively collaborate with stakeholders across sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Customer-centric content creator: Ability to build and implement campaigns that resonate with our ICP, creating tailored messaging and content that addresses their specific pain points at every touchpoint.
  • Innovative: Consistently test new approaches, channels, and content formats to improve campaign performance.
  • Natural team-player: Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment around demand generation initiatives.
