Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience managing or implementing energy efficiency, demand response, or load management programs for North American utilities. A minimum of 3 years of team leadership experience with a proven track record of driving strong client engagement and results is required, along with 2 years of experience working with utilities in the Southwest, including knowledge of regional priorities, key regulatory rulings, and energy efficiency program structures. The ability to design and deliver innovative solutions that align with client strategic goals and improve existing program outcomes is essential, as is the ability to travel locally up to 20% of the time. Candidates should also be located in or willing to relocate to the greater Phoenix, AZ area.
The Delivery Services Principal will lead and strengthen strategic client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor who proactively identifies opportunities to build on existing successes and advance client objectives. This role involves engaging directly with client leadership to co-develop forward-looking strategies, translating client priorities into actionable delivery plans, and ensuring programs are innovative, high-quality, and impactful. Responsibilities include promptly addressing and resolving client concerns, ensuring quality of services, contract compliance, and achievement of performance metrics while meeting delivery schedules. The Principal will also secure and align staffing and resources, maintain financial accountability for assigned projects, collaborate with Business Development to identify and capture new opportunities, provide accurate forecasts and strategic insights, and mentor and develop staff with a focus on enhancing client engagement skills, technical expertise, and innovative problem-solving.
