The Deli Manager should possess strong leadership skills and experience in managing retail store operations, with a demonstrated ability to train and motivate a team of associates. Familiarity with inventory control procedures and food safety guidelines is also essential.
The Deli Manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of the department, ensuring associates are trained and the department meets company standards and goals. This includes ordering and maintaining inventory, validating received orders, managing team tasks, maintaining product freshness and quality, implementing work schedules, monitoring labor costs, and adhering to company policies and timelines. Additionally, the Deli Manager will be responsible for developing and monitoring department goals, forecasts, and executing Flight Plans, as well as attending meetings and maintaining a clean and well-stocked department.
