  • Capacity to lead a team through periods of change, motivate associates to achieve ambitious goals, and foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture
  • Strong instincts for identifying, acquiring, and retaining top talent, with experience in performance management processes, including rewarding high performers and addressing performance gaps decisively and constructively
  • Proven track record of making holistic assessments of current state, defining end state vision, articulating the path forward, with conceptual thinking and strong orientation towards continuous improvement
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with impeccable written and oral communication credentials and ability to drive agreement through influence
  • Well-developed capacity to analyze and organize a new hire team, including time management, program management, and associate accountability
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others on assigned tasks and projects while meeting all deadlines
  • Ability to independently identify issues and proactively provide solutions
  • Ability to engage directly and effectively with key stakeholders to build strong relationships across the organization
  • Understanding of policy and procedure adherence to ensure compliant actions

Responsibilities

  • Direct management and coaching of Dealer Success Managers, including mentorship, goal setting, performance reviews, and career development
  • Accountable for the overall performance, productivity, and professional development of the assigned team of DSMs
  • Work closely with the RP, RSM, RRM, and POD roles (ASMs, ISMs, RMs, ARMs) to ensure consistent execution, align regional strategies, and foster a unified approach to serving Dealer partners
  • Provide initial training, coaching, and oversight of Dealer Success Managers throughout the new hire training program
  • Provide ongoing focus and development for all Dealer Success Managers through continued education forums
  • Effectively communicate across the organization, including with Senior Leadership
  • Ensure policy and procedure adherence and that compliant actions are understood and adhered to
  • Some travel required up to 50% to corporate headquarters in Dallas and potentially in-field dealer visits
