Candidates should possess at least 10 years of experience in Data Science roles within dynamic, outcome-driven organizations. Expertise in statistics and causal inference, applied in both experimentation and observational causal inference studies, is required. Proficiency in quantitative programming languages such as Python and R, expertise in SQL with extensive experience extracting large datasets and designing ETL workflows, and experience using business intelligence tools like Mode, Tableau, and Looker are essential. A strategic and impact-driven mindset, ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical audiences, attention to detail, and a proven track record in solving problems within GTM areas are also necessary.
The Data Scientist will partner with the Marketing team to define success metrics, understand growth drivers, and build systems for investment guidance. They will embed with GTM, User Ops, Marketing, and Partnerships organizations to uncover business improvements and drive growth, managing cross-functional data science projects related to revenue, marketing, pricing, and usage. Responsibilities include establishing a data-driven culture by defining and tracking metrics, becoming an expert in OAI’s data and systems, and developing and socializing dashboards, reports, and other self-serve data tools. The role also involves partnering with other data scientists to share knowledge and synthesize learnings across the organization.
