Requirements

Candidates should possess 7+ years of experience in data engineering or backend systems, with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership or architect role, demonstrating experience in designing and building distributed data systems on the cloud. Expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and data governance is required, along with strong experience in streaming architectures (e.g., Kinesis, Kafka) and batch ETL, and a deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines for data systems and infrastructure. Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and security standards is also necessary.

Responsibilities

As a Data Platform Technical Lead, you will manage the development and governance of the data platform, ensuring it is reliable, scalable, and optimized for advanced analytics; lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment; collaborate with data analysis and product development teams to design, build, and maintain high-quality data pipelines; establish and enforce data quality frameworks and governance policies; ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security best practices; and drive innovation and testing to continuously improve the data platform, while balancing trade-offs between scalability, cost, speed, and maintainability.
