Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with at least 6 years of Data Engineering experience using AWS services, and Pyspark/EMR. Preferred certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics, CCA Spark and Hadoop Developer or CCP Data Engineer are recommended.

Responsibilities

The Data Engineer III will lead and deliver projects within the APJ Data Engineering Team, focusing on Databricks, Unity Catalog, and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using Power BI. They will architect, design, and implement data governance and security frameworks utilizing Unity Catalog, ensuring data lineage, cataloging, and access control. The role involves performing source to target data analysis and mappings, collaborating with various teams, and improving existing solutions using technologies like Pyspark/EMR, SQL, and AWS services. Additionally, they will handle database migration projects, identify and implement process improvements, and write sophisticated queries for ETL/Data solutions.
