Requirements

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role, with proficiency in SQL and Python. Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), orchestration tools like Airflow, and data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift is required. A strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing principles, performance optimization techniques, and the ability to break down complex problems are essential. Fluent English (US/UK) or B2 level French is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Data Engineer will build and operate the data platform, process billions of events monthly, and manage over 30TB of data with more than 200 data pipelines. Responsibilities include designing, building, monitoring, and optimizing data pipelines and SQL/dbt models for performance and cost. The role involves collaborating with Analysts and Product squads to deliver datasets, contributing to the observability of the data stack, and delivering product features. The Data Engineer will also lead initiatives around data reliability, scalability, and cost optimization, and help define the Data Engineering roadmap.
