Data Analyst - Khan Academy India (12-Month Contract)
Position Overview
Khan Academy India is seeking a passionate and data-driven Data Analyst to support the execution and measurement of our educational programs. This role is crucial for creating essential reports and data views that guide our decision-making and demonstrate the success of our initiatives in partnership with state governments. The ideal candidate is proficient in data manipulation and visualization tools, particularly Google Sheets/MS Excel, and has a keen eye for detail and a commitment to presenting insightful, data-based findings.

Job Responsibilities
- Data Reporting & Visualization: Create state, district, block, and school-level data views to measure program success in all state government partnerships.
- Data Maintenance: Regularly maintain data trackers to ensure up-to-date information for program implementation and partner needs.
- Data Pre-processing: Clean and pre-process raw school data before uploading it into internal systems.
- Aggregate Data Views: Develop aggregate data views for support team and training team data to facilitate analysis.
- Time-Based Analysis: Download and maintain raw data dumps, performing time-based analysis on key program success metrics.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct other data analysis and MIS-based tasks as required.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or MS Excel.
- Passion for working with data.
- Obsession with presenting valuable, data-based insights.
- Ability to understand program requirements and translate them into actionable data views.
