Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or an Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical security field, and hold at least 10 years of extensive experience in IT and cybersecurity roles, demonstrating a proven track record in managing security teams and projects. Holding security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, OSCP, or CEH is preferred. A strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, along with experience with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR, is required.
The Cybersecurity Director will develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect the organization’s data and systems, leading security teams and coordinating efforts across various departments in multiple regions. They will ensure compliance with relevant global and in-country regulations and standards, drive vendor risk management and customer trust programs, oversee security operations related programs including incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence, and maintain solutions for firewalls, WAFs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security infrastructure. The role involves conducting regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks, formulating data discovery techniques, advising technical leadership on data safeguarding, and collaborating with executive leadership to align security initiatives with business objectives.
