Candidates should possess 20+ years of experience managing customer success/experience teams and coaching individuals, with a director, vice president, or similar leadership role. Coaching certification is a plus, but not required, and a high emotional IQ and self-awareness are essential. Applicants should be comfortable working in a constantly-changing startup environment and dedicate a minimum of 12+ hours per month to coaching at Mento for the next 24+ months.
As a Mento coach, responsibilities include forming 1:1 partnerships with members to help them identify and track clear goals, become a better leader, communicate more effectively, problem-solve issues at work, and feel happy and fulfilled. Coaches will provide 1:1 coaching sessions through the Mento Platform and Tools, participate in ongoing training sessions to improve coaching abilities, communicate with members via email or chat, and serve as an integral member of the coaching community by sharing tools and insights. Additionally, coaches will act with kindness, respect, and empathy as an ambassador of the Mento community.
