Responsibilities

  • Order management including monitoring, tracking and updating shipping dates using multiple Excel spreadsheets including a comprehensive dashboard for daily actions
  • Constant and proactive communication to internal and external customers regarding order and shipment status
  • Developing strong customer relationships, which may include some travel across North America for customer/site visits for the purpose of understanding their businesses, addressing any concerns where possible and highlighting potential issues and possible solutions
  • Collaborating with multiple internal departments to ensure a smooth order process by problem solving to expedite as required using various data sources
  • Navigating a complex supply chain network consisting of 12 plants and 2 distribution centers
  • Utilizing Excel to provide daily customer reports
  • Utilizing multiple systems for order entry and to verify customer orders for accuracy, load weight, pallet count, special considerations, etc
  • Leading projects using structured problem solving methodology (Lean Six Sigma)
