Responsibilities

Order management including monitoring, tracking and updating shipping dates using multiple Excel spreadsheets including a comprehensive dashboard for daily actions
Constant and proactive communication to internal and external customers regarding order and shipment status
Developing strong customer relationships, which may include some travel across North America for customer/site visits for the purpose of understanding their businesses, addressing any concerns where possible and highlighting potential issues and possible solutions
Collaborating with multiple internal departments to ensure a smooth order process by problem solving to expedite as required using various data sources
Navigating a complex supply chain network consisting of 12 plants and 2 distribution centers
Utilizing Excel to provide daily customer reports
Utilizing multiple systems for order entry and to verify customer orders for accuracy, load weight, pallet count, special considerations, etc
Leading projects using structured problem solving methodology (Lean Six Sigma)
