Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 4 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a related field, and demonstrate good working knowledge of GIS, remote sensing, and Earth observation technologies. They must also have proficiency in English and excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese, along with experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, and technical teams. Experience working with Japanese government agencies, as well as enterprise customers, is required.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Success Manager for Japan, the individual will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with government customers, ensuring they achieve their mission objectives using Planet’s products. They will identify expansion opportunities, facilitate training and onboarding, act as the voice of the customer internally, and collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to support customer needs and contribute to the development of strategies for future success. The role also involves working closely with internal stakeholders to share insights on key accounts and advocating for feature enhancements based on customer feedback.
