Role Overview

The Customer Success Manager (CSM) is a key member of the Go-To-Market team, responsible for managing relationships with enterprise customers in the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) industry. CSMs act as subject matter experts, trusted advisors, and customer advocates, reporting to the Director of Customer Success. The primary goal is to ensure DroneDeploy's solutions deliver measurable value, leading to increased adoption, engagement, and customer promotion. This role requires a strategic, detail-oriented individual dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive DroneDeploy platform adoption and ensure rapid time-to-value for customers.
  • Collaborate with sales counterparts to showcase customer successes and grow subscription revenue.
  • Monitor customer adoption and utilization trends to identify expansion opportunities, product champions, and potential churn risks.
  • Proactively guide customer accounts through their lifecycle, from initial product education to strategic partnerships.
  • Become a trusted reality capture advisor and build relationships with product stakeholders and end-users.
  • Advocate for the customer by providing detailed internal feedback to improve products and customer experience.
  • Align the customer base with the company's R&D initiatives by working closely with the Product team.
  • Co-manage the renewals process with sales counterparts and accurately forecast renewals.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction on DroneDeploy products and services.
  • Monitor and address technical and product issues.
