Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related function with direct customer advocacy and engagement experience in post-sales, demonstrating a passion for customer success and empathy for customer outcomes and value. They should possess a customers-first mindset with strong communication and relationship management skills, capable of managing customer expectations through empathy and active listening. Proven experience working with large, complex enterprises and developing relationships in a high-growth environment is required, along with a deep understanding of Observability, Logs, Metrics, IT Operations, and Security, including experience managing data pipelines throughout their lifecycle. Quick learning skills and solid technical problem-solving abilities are also necessary. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desired.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Success Engineer, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers, driving the entire Customer Success lifecycle from onboarding to expansion. You will become the trusted Cribl expert, assisting customers in building observability pipelines and transforming data within their organizations. This role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and senior management to drive success plans and KPIs, effectively communicating with technical and management functions, and driving continued value through expanded use cases and new data sources. You will also be responsible for ensuring customer health, inspiring and coaching team members, and collaborating cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to represent the customer’s voice. The CSE will communicate effectively utilizing customer success platforms, drive customer outcomes, and may be required to perform duties outside standard working hours, potentially including occasional travel up to 25%.
