Responsibilities

  • Identifies and develops sales opportunities within designated geographic market/account
  • Analyzes customers’ needs, crafts tailored customer development strategies, and creates demand for company offerings
  • Independently calls on senior-level executives to generate demand and business development opportunities
  • Serves as subject matter expert to support content development by internal teams (Marketing, Sales Executives, Customer Services, etc.)
  • Monitors and reports on business development productivity
  • Coordinates needs and opportunity assessments across accounts
  • Maintains full responsibility for contract compliance, coordinates compliance calls, and ensures adherence to terms
  • Manages pricing maintenance, approvals, and regular reviews for accounts
  • Conducts supplier negotiations and handles contract compliance issues
  • Drives RFP process: develops pre-RFP/renewals strategy, manages RFP/contracting, communicates with functional groups, and creates response action plans
  • Develops increased market penetration and share gain strategies/execution plans for accounts, communicates with VP and participates in reviews
  • Provides forecasting information and account potential assessments
  • Drives and manages quarterly business review process for assigned IDN accounts
  • Coaches, mentors, develops commercial teammates, and provides performance feedback
  • Supports sales reps in managing customer profitability and scheduling
  • Performs additional duties as directed
