Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and approximately 3-5 years of direct experience in a credit & collections team, along with experience working closely with a cash application team. They should have significant customer A/R portfolio management experience and demonstrated experience in effectively reducing aged A/R through active collections, as well as a demonstrated understanding of key Credit & Collections KPIs such as DSO and CEI.

Responsibilities

The Credit & Collections Specialist will review sales orders on credit hold for approval, proactively analyze aged A/R balances and contact customers to develop payment plans, process credit card transactions and monitor auto-pay activity, log all customer contacts and collection activities into a collection software system, make recommendations on monthly customer credits and bad debt reserves, liaise between the customer and various cross-functional teams to resolve open balances, and complete month-end and quarter-end deliverables in a timely manner, consistently improving productivity and efficiency through process improvement initiatives and change management.
