Key Responsibilities & Opportunities

  • Drive year-over-year revenue growth through customer and partner acquisition strategies.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market growth strategy and strategic sales plan for Japan.
  • Coordinate with global account teams on anchor partnerships.
  • Provide sales and operational leadership to cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Represent Cohere in the local market, promoting the company’s vision and products.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with enterprise-level clients and partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and negotiate high-value deals.
  • Analyze market trends and client needs to inform strategic decisions.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute and lead a go-to-market growth strategy & strategic sales plan for the country.
  • Assume coordination of the country’s anchor partnership.
  • Provide sales and operational leadership to Cohere’s cross functional teams.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Act as the primary representative of Cohere in the local market.
  • Represent at industry events and with regulators & government agencies.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with enterprise-level clients and partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and negotiate deals.
  • Collaborate with global teams on enterprise project implementations.
  • Analyze and report on local market trends and competitor activities.

Requirements

  • Experience: 15+ years of experience driving revenue growth and leading go-to-market efforts for a technology-focused organization/vendor/consultancy in the region.
  • Skills: Proven track record leading enterprise-level consultative solution sales and business development efforts.
