Requirements

Candidates must hold an ACCA/CPA or local equivalent certification and possess a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in high-tech companies, with a strong understanding of financial management and compliance. Proficiency in managing Payroll ERP systems, particularly Netsuite, is preferred. Significant experience working in a global environment with an understanding of diverse financial regulations and practices is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages, along with strong Excel and office skills, are required. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

The Country Finance Manager will spearhead all financial activities within the country, including accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting, with a focus on improving period-end closing processes. This includes preparing and managing ledger entries, payroll, tax benefits, and contributions reports for regulatory bodies. The role involves reconciling all balance sheet accounts, monitoring day-to-day transactions, maintaining accurate books, and preparing comprehensive financial and administrative reports. Ensuring timely and accurate submissions to tax authorities (VAT, CIT, Social Security, etc.) is crucial. The manager will also ensure accuracy in payroll calculations, oversee payroll software selection and integration, and address any payroll-related issues.
