Requirements

Candidates must be ACCA/CPA or possess a local equivalent certification. A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in high-tech companies is required, along with a strong understanding of financial management and compliance. Proficiency in managing Payroll ERP systems, particularly Netsuite, is preferred. Significant experience working in a global environment with diverse financial regulations is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages are mandatory, as are strong Excel and office skills. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

The Country Finance Manager will spearhead all financial activities within the country, including accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting, with a focus on improving period-end closing processes. Responsibilities include preparing and managing ledger entries, payroll, tax benefits, and contributions reports for regulatory bodies. The role involves reconciling all balance sheet accounts, monitoring day-to-day transactions, maintaining up-to-date books, and preparing financial and administrative reports. Ensuring timely and accurate submissions to tax authorities and overseeing payroll calculations and reporting are key duties. The manager will also oversee payroll software selection and integration, addressing any payroll-related issues.
