Requirements

HS Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of previous product, warehouse and/or sales related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Intermediate knowledge of Google and/or MS Office Applications
Frequent use of computer and telephones and occasional use of a forklift, pallet jack or other material handling equipment
Ability to routinely move up to 60 pounds and move more than 60 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to position self to stock inventory and handle cylinders

Responsibilities

Sell medical, industrial and specialty gases, welding equipment and hard goods and tools to customers
Respond to inquiries or concerns from walk-in and telephone customers
Solicit sales from walk-in and telephone call-in customers, assist with identification of product needs and locating merchandise
Accurately complete and file all required paperwork on a timely basis, including documenting sales, quotes or other information
Enter sales and quote data into the computer and research information for customers using the computer system
Receive payment for merchandise or services sold, enter sales into the computer, and adhere to all administrative and accounting related procedures
Restock store merchandise as needed, arrange stock on shelves or racks, keep merchandise in order, and mark or ticket merchandise
Provide warehouse support for shipping and receiving, inventory stocking, cleaning, labeling, or other tasks
Follow all safety procedures, including those for cylinder handling during exchanges and storage
Maintain showroom cleanliness by procedures set forth by management
Maintain current price documentation and product literature as it becomes available and keep product knowledge current
