Candidates should possess a university degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or Engineering, with an MBA or dual education being preferred. Proven work experience in sales or general management roles, including managing sales teams, ideally within an international matrix organization, is essential. Excellent leadership and people management skills across multiple departments, a passion for developing others, and a strong track record in delivering sales growth and meeting financial targets are required. Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, analytical ability, exceptional communication and presentation skills, strong influencing skills, high emotional intelligence, resilience, adaptability, and comfort leading through change and ambiguity are also necessary. Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory, with Portuguese being a plus. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the working time is expected.
The Country Manager Iberia will lead regional operations, acting as the local ambassador for the business, values, and culture. Responsibilities include ensuring the successful delivery of the business plan by identifying growth opportunities and developing strategies to increase market share and profitability, while creating alignment across departments. This role involves leading the local sales organization, managing and developing the team, driving financial and commercial performance, and implementing effective sales practices. Key duties include delivering the regional business plan, analyzing market trends, managing and motivating the local team, developing and implementing sales management practices, setting goals for the sales team, driving account management excellence, developing new business, ensuring the region has the right talent, developing annual budgets, monitoring and managing performance, maintaining effective communication, serving as a cultural role model, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, serving as the primary point of contact for employees, promoting a positive environment, collaborating with headquarters, monitoring employee engagement, and representing the company in stakeholder engagements.
