Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience as a pre-sales engineer providing proposal experience (customer analysis, problem proposals, product and service proposals), advanced knowledge and experience of Security Operations Center (SOC) processes, knowledge/experience of SIEM, understanding and experience of customer cybersecurity measures (endpoint, network, cloud domains), fluent or native-level Japanese, and business-level English for email correspondence and daily conversation. Experience as a SOC analyst, threat hunting, or threat intelligence is a plus, as is experience with SOAR or automated workflow improvement, endpoint security (EPP, EDR), network security (IPS/IDS, NDR, ZTNA), cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure, CSPM, CWPP), vulnerability assessment service experience, knowledge of malware, exploits, sandboxes, scripts (Python/OS), cloud/virtualization environments, digital forensics, and a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new challenges.
The Cortex Product Sales Engineer Domain Consultant will be responsible for pre-sales work, conducting proposals for the latest SOC platform (Cortex products) to customers, analyzing the security operations situation of customers to conduct proposals for reforming customer security operations using the Cortex product family (SIEM, Endpoint, Cloud Analysis, AI utilization, automation, etc.), integrating disparate customer security tools and leveraging AI and automation to improve customer value (e.g., reducing MTTD/MTTR) and proposing a consulting service for a target security operations center (SOC), providing technical consulting to guide customers to appropriate cybersecurity measures based on their industry, conducting product training and sales enablement activities for existing and new customers, internal account sales/SE departments, marketing departments, and partners, functioning as an interface between the sales team and technical support to resolve customer technical issues, participating in promotional activities such as webinars and product demonstrations at company-hosted or partner-led events, and collaborating with customers at all levels, from individual contributors to C-level executives.
