Monte Carlo is seeking a Senior Content Marketer to join its Marketing team. This role is responsible for the strategy and execution of high-impact content initiatives, including thought leadership, ebooks, social videos, and email campaigns, aimed at driving awareness, creating demand, and establishing category leadership in Data + AI Observability. The position is production-first, ideal for a creative and technically curious content marketer with B2B SaaS experience, particularly in data, AI, or engineering sectors, and a strong understanding of AI-powered search, SEO, and content marketing trends.

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling content across various channels (blogs, guides, reports, landing pages, emails, videos, social media) to educate, inspire, and convert technical and business audiences.
  • Develop and own a thought leadership strategy to position Monte Carlo as a leader in Data + AI Observability, collaborating with the Head of Content, executives, customers, and subject matter experts.
  • Write and produce content for social media, including posts, threads, carousels, and short-form video scripts, working with design and brand teams.
  • Partner with demand generation, product marketing, and events teams to create content campaigns aligned with business goals and measurable results.
  • Optimize content for distribution and discoverability using SEO best practices and keyword strategy in an AI-first environment.
  • Support email content development for newsletters, lifecycle emails, and nurture campaigns, in collaboration with marketing ops and demand gen teams.
  • Utilize performance data to iterate and improve paid and organic content.
  • Become a thought leader on AI-driven SEO and search behavior (e.g., SGE, Perplexity, ChatGPT), adapting content strategies accordingly.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of content marketing experience, preferably in a technical B2B environment (data, AI, engineering, etc.).
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a portfolio of high-performing content across multiple formats for technical and business decision-makers.
  • Self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to quickly master new technical concepts and take ownership of product and industry education.
  • Experience in creating both long-form (e.g., whitepapers, research reports) and short-form content (e.g., emails, ads, event abstracts, decks, social copy).
  • Familiarity with content creation for platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, and emerging channels, including platform-specific best practices.
  • Experience collaborating with designers for graphics, visuals, and social-first assets.
  • Expertise in AI-powered tools like Jasper.ai, Claude Code, and Otter.ai is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of SEO and the impact of AI on search, with a passion for experimenting with new content formats and tools.
  • Skilled in email marketing, with experience creating content for campaigns, newsletters, and product updates.
