Requirements

Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong technical understanding of products and systems, and proficiency in authoring tools such as Adobe FrameMaker or MadCap Flare. Experience with graphic design tools and knowledge of industry standards for technical documentation, including IEC/IEEE 82079-1, VDI guideline 2770, ISO 2651x, and ISO/AWI 21999, are also required. The role requires the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable language and a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy. This is a fully onsite position requiring the ability to travel to an Arrow Client office location as requested.

Responsibilities

The Content Editor will create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and maintenance procedures, collaborating with engineering teams to explain complex products. Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive technical documentation, gaining in-depth product knowledge, gathering information from technical sources, creating visual aids like diagrams and charts, ensuring compliance with industry standards, working with cross-functional teams for feedback, and utilizing authoring tools and content management systems for efficient organization, updating, and publishing of documentation.
