Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred
  • 3+ years of business strategy, consulting, or agency experience (preferably in the sports/entertainment industry)
  • 1+ year(s) experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker)
  • Experience with SQL is required
  • Experience with R, Python, and/or another statistical programming language a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and technical skills
  • Knowledge of sponsorship and the sports industry
  • Ability to communicate professionally in both a written and verbal context with external end-users and internal colleagues
  • Attention to detail, ability to work with deadlines, and ability to coordinate across multiple departments
  • Ability to carry out responsibilities with minimal direction

Responsibilities

  • Leverage deep relationships and knowledge base with agencies, brands, rights holders, and consumers across the globe to create strategies that drive both brand value and business results for clients and their partners
  • Curate strategy for clients based upon market trends, measurement, value drivers, potential opportunities etc
  • Identify the value and objectives for clients, and curate strategy around positioning offerings in the marketplace
  • Facilitate the work to inform the strategy for key partner programs, and identification of growth opportunities to be used in renewals and negotiations
  • Lead the day-to-day management of select partnerships, with focus on working directly with client team members, executing deliverables, measuring/analyzing data points, and providing strategic recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure that projects are produced according to SOW, on-time, and are aligned with client expectations and budgets
  • Provide partners with dynamic measurement and reporting across key metrics, and demonstrate performance of partners across a variety of data types and sources
  • Develop intricate SQL scripts utilizing both relational and disparate data sets to drive business decisions
  • Help implement the data analytics vision for business decision making through Tableau dashboard design for clients
  • Monitor trends in the sports, entertainment, and technology landscapes to keep team members and executives up to date, and identify new opportunities
