Requirements

Candidates must have at least 5 years of construction management experience in retail store TI and/or commercial TI construction. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Teams is required. A Construction Management Degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will be based in Florida or the Southeast region.

Responsibilities

The Construction Project Manager, Retail will manage new store projects, including developing and managing construction budgets, timelines, and schedules. This involves coordinating the bidding process, qualifying contractors, reviewing contracts, and value engineering construction drawings. The role requires analyzing bid proposals, contracts, invoices, and change orders to ensure projects stay within budget and on schedule. Responsibilities also include conducting site visits, preparing punch lists, providing construction guidance for store design, reviewing vendor quotes, maintaining project documentation, and managing warranty follow-up. The project manager will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders such as landlords, designers, architects, contractors, and vendors.
