OR Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support degree from an approved institution
OR Four years of qualifying work experience in a related human services field (e.g., case management, residential support, developmentally disabled support, vocational rehabilitation) or a combination of education and experience equaling four years
OR Qualified Addictions Professional (QAP) or CADC

Responsibilities

Deliver mental health services to clients in the community (e.g., clients' homes, clinics, community locations)
Empower clients through behavioral interventions using techniques like motivational interviewing, operant conditioning, and cognitive processing to achieve treatment goals and improve well-being
Foster recovery and resilience with a supportive educational approach, engaging in activities aligned with treatment goals to meet unique client needs
Manage a caseload, collaborating with supervisory staff to maintain a fulfilling workload
Participate in staffing sessions to identify client needs, set treatment goals, and develop individualized plans
Respond to mental health emergencies using sound judgment and discretion within scope of training
Provide comprehensive follow-up services, including for missed appointments, outreach, engagement, and documentation of all interactions (including unsuccessful attempts)
Participate in staff development activities such as meetings, training sessions, and workshops
