Requirements

Candidates should have 4-5 years of experience in end-user engagement, community marketing, or ecosystem development within the open-source or enterprise software sectors. Exceptional relationship-building, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional engagement skills are required, along with familiarity with the cloud-native community. Experience in writing and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns, managing changing priorities, and strong organizational skills are essential. Proficiency with Canva is required, and experience with HubSpot and Asana is preferred. The ability to travel internationally is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Community Marketing Manager will build and nurture relationships with community members, driving awareness, engagement, and contributions to CNCF-hosted projects. This role involves working cross-functionally with the global CNCF community, internal teams, event managers, and ecosystem partners. Responsibilities include managing community interactions via various channels, encouraging community support, capturing and amplifying success stories, identifying growth opportunities, building and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns, leading community meetings, driving promotion for CNCF events, focusing on cost reduction, coordinating with external agencies and internal partners, and reporting on program engagement and impact.
