Position Overview

Voodoo is seeking a dynamic Community Manager to lead and animate our Discord server and engage with players for Paper.io 2. This role involves creating exciting content, organizing events, and driving user growth across various social media platforms.

Our Gaming Team

The Voodoo Gaming team comprises experts in hybrid-casual, casual, and mid-core gaming. Our 'Live' games team focuses on enhancing engagement for our existing successful games.

Joining our Live games team offers the opportunity to collaborate with gaming industry experts on globally renowned, enduring games while also exploring exciting new entrepreneurial ventures. As the world's largest and most successful hybrid publisher, we boast over seven billion downloads worldwide and a portfolio of more than 10 resilient hybrid games, each generating over $20 million annually. You will be joining one of our Live Studios, working specifically on Paper.io 2.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and animate our Discord server, interacting directly with players.
  • Organize engaging activities and events to motivate our player base, aligning with in-game events.
  • Create compelling content for our Twitter account and actively engage with users.
  • Drive user and engagement growth across our brand and owned & operated channels on Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
  • Run Live AMAs, dev chats, dev blogs, Twitter Spaces, and Twitch Streams for high-touch B2C/superfans.
  • Act as the "Chief Meme Officer."
  • Conduct social listening, analyze player feedback and data, and suggest game improvements.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications is a plus.
  • Proven experience with marketing strategies, sales techniques, and social media management.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Native level of English proficiency.
