Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in Tech, B2B, or Finance-adjacent marketing. Expertise in events related to community initiatives, field marketing, corporate marketing, strategic events, or conferences is required. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with exceptional project management and organizational abilities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can adapt in rapidly changing environments and make decisions in ambiguous situations. Ability to travel multiple times per quarter is also necessary.
The Community Events Manager will own and execute Ramp's community event strategy to drive brand awareness and engage the partner and customer community. They will manage end-to-end program planning and execution, including event selection, driving new programs, maintaining an annual budget, and analyzing program results. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging and tactics align with event goals is key. The role includes setting high-quality standards for event experiences, developing a thought leadership strategy, and managing both internal and external speakers. Establishing success criteria, analyzing event impact, and preparing post-event follow-ups are also part of the responsibilities. Additionally, the manager will build processes for scalability and collaborate with Finance on budget and resource forecasting, while providing onsite event management at the NY HQ and traveling as needed.
