Position Overview

Veritas Veterinary Partners is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Communications Supervisor or Manager to support internal and external communications, with a strong emphasis on event-related messaging and logistics. This collaborative role requires a blend of strategic thinking, skilled writing, and logistical expertise. You will work closely with various teams, including communications, talent acquisition, operations, and senior leadership, to inform, inspire, and connect our audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Communications Management

  • Social Media Management: Manage and grow our social media presence across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube). Develop and curate content that aligns with our brand voice, values, and veterinary expertise. Ensure consistency across hospital and corporate channels.
  • Media Relations: Identify storytelling opportunities and manage media outreach. This includes writing press releases, pitching to trade and local outlets, and building relationships with key industry journalists.
  • Internal Communications: Own the strategy, content, and delivery of internal newsletters. Support regular updates to keep hospital teams informed, inspired, and connected to the broader organization.
  • Storytelling: Act as a connector across our hospital network to identify and surface authentic stories that highlight our people, culture, medical excellence, and impact. Interview team members and transform insights into engaging content for various audiences and platforms.

Event Coordination

  • Industry Conferences & Tradeshows: Coordinate logistics and communications for Veritas' presence at veterinary industry conferences and tradeshows. This includes booth planning, branded materials, and complementary offsite recruiting events. Occasional onsite support may be required.
  • University Recruitment: Organize university recruitment efforts by helping plan, promote, and execute events at veterinary schools. Ensure consistent messaging and materials. Occasional onsite support may be required.
  • Internal Events: Support the planning and execution of large-scale internal calls (e.g., Voices of Veritas call, leadership forums). Responsibilities include scheduling, tech setup, speaker preparation, content coordination, and supplemental communications.
  • Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to align event content and goals with the broader organizational strategy. Manage post-event wrap-ups, including debriefs, feedback collection, and impact reporting.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in communications, events, or related roles. Experience in the healthcare or veterinary industry is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Journalism, English, Communications, or Marketing.
