Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 6 years of experience managing the commissions process at a tech company, demonstrating expertise in reporting, analytics, and the calculation of sales incentive/commission payments. They should have strong proficiency in using Excel for data analysis, including basic formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs, along with experience utilizing BI tools such as Looker or Tableau. Previous experience supporting a sales function in a SaaS company and knowledge of US GAAP are preferred assets.

Responsibilities

As a Commissions Manager, the individual will be responsible for managing the annual compensation setting process, resetting quotas, plans, and configuring systems as needed, distributing and maintaining commission plans database in CaptivateIQ, partnering with Rev Ops and HR Ops to establish best practices and improve processes, researching compensation issues and disputes, managing the end-to-end compensation process including commissions calculation, payment, reporting, and inquiries, providing support for end-user inquiries, producing documentation for audit and SOX processes, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual commissions files, ensuring accuracy of payments, and assisting in audit requirements and month-end close accounting schedules.
