Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years Sales experience generating net new business
  • Demonstrated consistent 100%+ Quota Attainment and President Club attendance
  • Proven experience selling a complex multi-product architecture to organisations, selling into C-level Executives to Evaluator-level Engineers
  • Experience managing an entire sales cycle from start to finish
  • Minimum 1–2 years Cold Calling experience (not tech, SaaS or Security specific)
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn new business and technical concepts quickly
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
  • Based in Melbourne

Responsibilities

  • Engage and interact with SMB businesses (up to 500 employees) across Australia, collaborating with and through channel partners to develop and execute sales strategies tailored to this segment
  • Establish strong business relationships at the executive level
  • Conduct advanced solution selling, sales presentations, and coordinate multiple resources within an account while consistently closing business for Proofpoint
  • Coordinate and deliver compelling portfolio presentations
  • Work with System Engineers and Product Specialists to prepare account strategies and plans
  • Partner with marketing and the channel to gain access into new accounts
  • Maintain strong operational excellence, including forecast accuracy and Salesforce pipeline development
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Proofpoint’s competitive positioning in the marketplace
