Responsibilities

  • Oversight of a field sales team focused on Branded and Unbranded light product rack marketing throughout the state of Florida
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Brand, Wholesale, and/or National Accounts customers
  • Support team in maintaining customer satisfaction by advising and assisting with customer issues and handling difficult situations
  • Interact with Pricing, Trading, Supply, and/or Logistics organizations to determine and execute profitable near and long-term sales strategy and price position targets
  • Provide strategic direction for direct reports in line with Region or National Accounts and Commercial objectives
  • Assess new product offerings and new market expansion opportunities; assist direct reports with prospecting efforts including prioritization and resource allocation
  • Consult with direct reports in creating and negotiating Brand proposal packages and Wholesale contract and bid packages aligned with organization growth objectives
  • Review all proposals and associated contract analysis for accuracy and quality; grant approval within level of authority and seek higher approval as needed
  • Serve as primary liaison to legal in the development and review of all contracts prior to execution; present Brand proposals to necessary Commercial leaders as required
  • Review customer sales volume, margins, terminal pricing, and market conditions; deliver recommendations to Management and implement changes as needed
  • Develop the Annual Capital Budget, Annual Business Plan, as well as Brand and Wholesale Customer forecasts with inputs from others in the Region
  • Recommend new products, programs, strategies, and innovation management to improve sales and profitability
  • Assist direct reports in defining opportunities for participation in Brand Marketing programs/strategies and coordinate their implementation
  • Coordinate activities between other teams for Branded, Wholesale, and/or National Accounts customers that cross geographic boundaries
