Requirements

High integrity and strong judgement to ensure customer privacy is always protected
Quick learner able to develop sound knowledge of Brighte’s products, policies, and relevant legislation
Skilled problem solver with experience in dispute resolution and negotiation
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and dynamic environment while meeting customer needs
Skilled at building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships

Able to work autonomously with strong attention to detail
Understanding of relevant regulatory legislation: Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act (2001) (ASIC Act), Competition and Consumer Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act, Privacy Act, and National Consumer Credit Protection Act
Experience with FinPower (a bonus)

Responsibilities

Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails to assist customers with payment issues
Negotiate payment plans and hardship solutions to help customers get back on track
Identify early warning signs of financial stress and intervene with empathy and compliance
Own your portfolio: monitor accounts, process adjustments, reconcile balances, and maintain accuracy
Achieve performance benchmarks while delivering great customer experiences
Prepare weekly and ad-hoc reports highlighting trends and opportunities
Provide expert knowledge on collections matters
Collaborate with senior management, sales, and vendors to accelerate resolutions
Participate in training and coaching sessions to develop skills
