IT infrastructure operational experience: 5+ years
Cloud environment (AWS, Azure, etc.) operational experience: 2+ years
Knowledge and practical experience of ITIL-based operational processes
Operational experience in one of the following: Linux, Windows, or Networking
Experience using monitoring tools and operational management tools
Scripting ability for operational improvement (Shell, PowerShell, etc.)
Basic communication skills in English, including reading English documentation and sending basic emails
Hold or possess equivalent knowledge and skills in one or more of the following certifications: AWS/Azure/GCP Certified Associate Level, ITIL Foundation, Linux Certified Professional (LPIC), Network related certifications (CCNA), Other certifications related to system operations or infrastructure

Responsibilities

System monitoring and operational maintenance of cloud and on-premise environments
Incident management and problem resolution (including incident response, root cause analysis, and implementing preventative measures)
Capacity management and performance optimization
Routine operations such as backup/restore and security patch application
Configuration management and change management implementation
Implementation of operational procedures
Creation and maintenance of operational procedure documents
Promotion of operational efficiency through automation
Small to medium-sized environment build and improvement tasks
Developing and implementing operational improvement proposals
