Requirements

Candidates should be proficient in troubleshooting EC2 instances and Linux hosts, skilled in authoring, publishing, and maintaining Amazon Machine Images (AMIs), experienced in managing vulnerability processes including the identification and remediation of common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs), capable of assessing, prioritizing, and responding to security threats and exposed credentials, proficient in navigating and editing code repositories ensuring proper version control and collaboration with development teams, and experienced in authoring and managing modules for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployment. Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, or similar frameworks is recommended, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS SysOps Operator, and Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Security Operations Engineer will manage and administer private cloud environments, effectively troubleshoot and manage vulnerabilities, contribute to the deployment and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, ideally using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, and proactively respond to security threats and exposed credentials while collaborating with development teams to ensure proper version control.
