Responsibilities

Demonstrate a solid understanding of the broader communication industry and its basic principles
Understand key client information, including business strategy, industry issues, products and services, key customers, and competitors
Develop earned media skills – building relationships with media, proactively surface new storylines, drafting media briefing materials, building thoughtful media lists, and outreach to media
Write, edit, and proofread materials including press releases, briefing books, coverage reports, pitch notes, fact sheets, and client correspondence
Demonstrate knowledge of social media tools and channels
Help supervise and educate interns
Participate in new business processes, including research and proposal preparation
Commit to continuous learning through Edelman Learning Institute and other training opportunities
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman’s values and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
