Exceptional communication skills, experience leading multidisciplinary teams, strong financial management skills, high organization, adeptness at multitasking and prioritizing, and the ability to motivate others are also essential.
The Project Manager will manage all aspects of medical communications projects from inception to completion, including content development, advisory boards, and speaker training. This includes facilitating multidisciplinary project teams, interfacing with internal departments, meeting client and management expectations, establishing faculty relationships, and ensuring programs stay on target and within budget. Responsibilities also involve budget development, maintenance, and reconciliation, managing external suppliers, keeping programs on time and focused on objectives, providing ongoing updates to internal team members and clients, and resource management. The role requires building and maintaining strong client and faculty relationships, ensuring client expectations are met, developing new project budgets, contributing to new business development, managing project finances, scheduling and conducting project meetings, and overseeing the development of all project activities. Additionally, the Project Manager will assist in training new team members and maintain company policies and standard operating procedures.
