Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. A minimum of 7 years of combined progressive experience in field sales, marketing, or dealer operations, demonstrating success in driving performance and leading cross-functional initiatives, is required. The role also necessitates at least 1 year of experience as a Zone Manager or in a similar capacity, along with prior dealer contact experience, preferably from an OEM. Strong relationship management and influential communication skills are essential, as is the ability to think strategically and solve problems creatively. Candidates must be comfortable navigating conflict and performance gaps diplomatically, be highly organized with strong prioritization and delegation skills, and have experience leading a sales team. Extensive travel (approximately 80%) within the assigned zone is expected, and candidates must be willing to relocate to Buffalo, NY. Immigration sponsorship is not provided for this role.

Responsibilities

The Zone Manager will be responsible for leading the zone's achievement of sales and aftersales targets, strengthening dealer performance through coaching and strategic planning, and championing digital transformation and Tier 3 marketing excellence. They will align dealer and agency efforts with Local Market Association (LMA) goals, spearhead customer experience initiatives, and optimize inventory turn rates and accessory integration. The role involves driving a business development culture and dealer engagement, overseeing facility image programs to ensure brand consistency, and instilling a growth mindset across the dealer network. Additionally, the Zone Manager will administer dealer agreements and ensure compliance with performance standards.
