Requirements

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in CCTV and security system installation and maintenance. Proficiency in working with both analog and IP-based security systems, access control systems, and alarm systems is required. Familiarity with basic networking principles, including IP addressing and router configuration, is necessary. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CTS, or manufacturer-specific certifications are a plus. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is also required, along with the physical ability to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and navigate confined spaces.

Responsibilities

The CCTV/Security Technician will install CCTV cameras, access control systems, alarm systems, and related hardware at client sites. They will perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance and diagnose and resolve technical issues with security systems. The technician will set up and configure network-based security systems, provide training and support to clients on system operations, and maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs. Additionally, they will ensure all installations comply with industry standards, company policies, and local regulations.
