Ability to process member purchases courteously and friendly, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products
Ability to scan merchandise and accept various forms of payments using a point-of-sale system
Ability to provide excellent member service efficiently and productively
Ability to maintain overall cleanliness of the front-line department

Daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and club standards (Grand opening look, stocked items, promotional plans, accurate signage, clean/organized)
Understanding of how to access and read production/financial performance reporting for the department
Responsibilities
Process member purchases, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products
Scan all club merchandise through point-of-sale system for accurate inventory and purchase totals
Offer appropriate membership products such as renewals, EASY renewal option, BJ’s Loyalty programs, and Rewards redemption
Provide high level of customer service and check out members in a timely, efficient manner
Fill shopping carts when necessary and assist members
Maintain overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Carry out job functions as assigned and support club policies/procedures/compliance
Deliver service excellence, resolve/deescalate member concerns, ensure safe/positive environment
Work as a team to achieve goals and deliver GOLD club standards daily
